Exercise in one of the best ways to control appetite. A sometimes useful tactic for weight loss is to do cardio exercise in the early evening at the same time you would normally eat dinner. This has several benefits:

•	Several meals a week can be much lighter than normal since appetite is decreased.
•	Some people believe that calories at night are especially problematic, so these are targeted.
•	Since it is evening, you will likely go to bed before any compensatory hunger kicks in.

Adding exercise AND cutting back on dinner at the same time 3 to 4 times each week will help speed up weight loss noticeably.

Cardio and Lower Carb in the Evening

I try to going lower carb in the evening anyway, so I might get on the treadmill for twenty minutes then eat a couple of hard boiled eggs and maybe some vegetables or a small piece of fruit occasionally.

I would also recommend that you use cardio type exercise (walking, running, swimming, etc..) for this rather than resistance type exercise (lifting weights, push-ups, pull-ups, etc…). (I think resistance exercise is best followed with more carbs and calories to help boost muscle gains, but that is another post…)

Conclusion

Cardio exercise at dinner time followed by an extra light dinner is one of the best diet tips to suppress appetite and help lose weight. You combine extra exercise with lighter meals 3 to 4 times a week to help diet and weight loss.

Dreamfields has created a low carb pasta that can be very beneficial for low carb diet plans and weight loss in general. This low carb pasta is manufactured in such a way that the carbs are bound up extra tight with fiber and are “protected” from digestion. Dreamfields low carb pasta has been clinically tested to have a 65% lower impact on blood sugar than regular pasta, which would be very beneficial for low carb diet plans.

Dreamfields low carb pasta tastes just like regular pasta, and it can be a good way to allow pasta on low carb diet plans and others as well. The key is not to overdue it and still eat in moderation even though it is low carb. How low carb the Dreamfields pasta really is can depend on various factors, such as how long it is cooked, which type of pasta you get (thicker is harder to digest), and what else you eat or drink with it.

Are there any supplements for motivation?

There are various kinds of supplements that are beneficial to increasing motivation. There are three major categories:

Motivation Supplements

-	those that address nutrient deficiencies,
- neural regulators
-	energizers

Basic Nutrient Replenishers

Many people have nutrient deficiencies today. These affect the efficiency of many bodily processes like energy conversion which can be detrimental to getting and staying motivated.

Many trace minerals like selenium and chromium have been depleted from the soil due to industrial farming. Modern humans also tend to eat less organ meats like liver that were important in supplying these. “Eating healthy” cannot replace all of these because they are missing from the food chain.

Recommended Supplements:
Multivitamin and Mineral Formula
Choline

Neural Regulators

Neuro-Maxx

These are supplements designed to help regulate brain chemistry. It is not really that natural to be unmotivated. Before modern times, if you were not motivated you would starve. Modern stresses, unnatural lighting and sleep patterns, and poor diet can all be detrimental to optimum brain chemistry.

Improving brain chemistry will improve motivation. These motivation supplements help to improve the function of brain chemicals that help keeps us motivated, alert, emotionally balanced, and well rested.

Supplements:
Neuro-Maxx
Drive

Energizers

Motivation Supplements

Energizers are often the most effective motivation supplements. For many people, lack of motivation is simply lack of energy. With adequate energy, many people find themselves quite motivated. The extreme example is the stories of people addicted to stimulants that are constantly cleaning their homes because they are so motivated.

Harsh chemical stimulants are unhealthy and dangerous, but there are safe all-natural alternatives that work with your body instead of against it. Ginsing, green tea, and other herbals have been used for centuries as proven energizers and motivators.

Supplements:
Phix Energy
Energy
Energy Xtension
Now Energy

Other Products

Subliminal Messages for Motivation

$11.97 MP3 / $17.97 CD

There is some evidence that subliminal messages – messages directed toward the subconcious mind rather than the concious mind – can be effective in various circumstances. RealSubliminal has CDs and MP3s designed for Extreme Self Motivation. For many people this can be highly effective. MP3s start at $11.97.

Start slowly if you have been inactive, but work your way up to at least 20 minutes of continuous exercise at least 3 times a week. A good walk with a little faster pace is a good way to get started without too much stress on the body (a treadmill in front of the TV is good option for some people.) Many consider exercise the best way to improve overall health, and it is one of the best ways to speed up weight loss no matter what diet plan your are on. Twenty minutes of cardiovascular exercise will boost you metabolism and help keep it up at a higher level. After 30 to 40 minutes of cardiovascular exercise, your body will start to burn fat off directly.

If the portion looks too small, then tell yourself you will eat a little more if you are still hungry 40-45 minutes later. Don’t think you have to eat everything during a designated meal time. Give the food a chance to settle, and if you are still hungry later then eat a snack. As a key part of many diet plans, you have to experiment with portion sizes and find what works best, and sometimes you have to convince yourself that a little smaller portion is just as satisfying in the long run. The goal is to optimize weight loss while not getting overly hungry or tired.
